नई दिल्ली: सरकार ने चावल निर्यात पर प्रतिबंध को लेकर चल रही अटकलों को सोमवार को खत्म कर दिया। सरकार ने स्पष्ट कर दिया है कि देश में चावल का पर्याप्त भंडार है, इसलिए सरकार का इस समय चावल के निर्यात पर प्रतिबंध लगाने का कोई इरादा नहीं है। गेहूं के निर्यात पर अचानक लगी रोक के बाद से अटकलें लगाई जा रही हैं कि सरकार चावल के निर्यात को कभी भी रोक सकती है।
सोमवार को जारी एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, खाद्य मंत्री सुधांशु पांडे ने कहा कि देश में चावल का पर्याप्त भंडार है। इसलिए सरकार निर्यात पर प्रतिबंध नहीं लगाएगी। देश में बढ़ती महंगाई पर काबू पाने के लिए सरकार कई कदम उठा रही है. देश में गेहूं और आटे की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी के बाद सरकार ने गेहूं के निर्यात पर रोक लगा दी थी. वहीं, चीनी की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी को रोकने के लिए सरकार ने चीनी के निर्यात की सीमा तय की।
पिछले वर्ष प्रचुर मात्रा में चावल का उत्पादन
पिछले साल देश में चावल का उत्पादन बहुत अच्छा था। इस साल भी मानसून सामान्य रहने की उम्मीद है। इसी वजह से अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है कि इस बार देश में चावल का बेहतर उत्पादन होगा। प्रमुख चावल उत्पादक राज्यों का मानना है कि इस साल भी फसल के लिए स्थितियां सही हैं।
वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 में अधिक निर्यात
सरकार देश के चावल के निर्यात को बढ़ाने के लिए भी कदम उठा रही है। चावल की अधिक खपत वाले ऐसे देशों की पहचान की जाती है। वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 में, भारत ने 9.6 बिलियन डॉलर मूल्य के चावल का निर्यात किया। यह वित्त वर्ष 2019-20 में निर्यात में 6.4 अरब डॉलर से काफी अधिक था। वहीं, वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 में भारत ने 8.82 अरब डॉलर मूल्य के चावल का निर्यात किया।
