Betul Fire News – सारणी – राख से सटे हिस्से में बड़े पैमाने पर आग लग गई। आग को बुझाने के लिए दमकल की मदद ली गई है वहीं मजदूर भी लगाए गए हैं। आग के चलते वन्य प्राणियों एवं जीव जंतुओं के मरने की आशंका बदलती होने लगी है। शुक्रवार शाम को लगी आग पर अब काबू नहीं पाया जा सका है।
पावर हाउस प्रबंधन ने यहां आग बुझाने के लिए कई मजदूरों और फायर ब्रिगेड की भी मदद ली है। लेकिन इसे बुझाने में सफलता नहीं मिली है। जहां आग लगी थीं वह क्षेत्र 75 फीसदी जल गया है और अभी भी मौके पर आग धधक रही है।

बैतूल जिले के सारनी में सतपुड़ा ताप विद्युत गृह सारनी मौजूद हैं। विद्युत गृह के साथ ही कोयला जलाने से बनने वाली राख को स्टोर करने के लिए सतपुड़ा ताप विद्युत गृह प्रबंधन द्वारा सारनी के समीप ही राख बांध का निर्माण किया गया था।राख बांध पर जमा होने वाली राख गर्मी के समय हवा? में ना उड़े इसलिए उसे रोकने के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर राख बांध पर घास लगाई जाती है। जिसके लिए बकायदा कार्यादेश जारी किया जाता है।

सारनी निवासी पर्यावरणविद् आदिल खान ने बताया की राख बांध में बड़ी संख्या में पक्षी, सरीसृप और वन्यप्राणी भी रहते हैं। जिनमें खरगोश, जंगली सुअर, साही इत्यादि शामिल हैं। अगर वन्यप्राणियों के हिसाब से देखा जाए तो यह बांध राख से भरा होने के बाद भी वन्य जीवन को अपने में समेटे हुए हैं।
373 हेक्टेयर में फैला है बांध | Betul Fire News
मिली जानकारी के अनुसार राख बांध 373 हेक्टेयर में फैला हुआ है। जिसमें से 18 हेक्टेयर छोड़ कर बाकी का क्षेत्र वन विभाग को हस्तांतरित कर दिया गया है। वहीं शुक्रवार सुबह राख बांध के सारनी शहर से सटे हिस्से में बड़े पैमाने पर आग लग गई। जिसकी जानकारी स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा पर्यावरणविद् आदिल खान को दी गई, आदिल मौके पर पहुंचे तो उन्होंने देखा की राख बांध के बहुत बड़े हिस्से में आग लगी हुई है।
लगभग पन्द्रह फीट ऊंची आग की लपटे उठ रहीं थीं और पक्षी इधर से उधर भाग रहें थे। जिसके बाद राख बांध से ही आदिल ने सतपुड़ा ताप विद्युत गृह सारनी के मुख्य अभियंता कैथवार को, सारनी उप वन मंडल एसडीओ और नगरपालिका सारनी सीएमओ सी.के.मेश्राम को इसकी जानकारी दी। जानकारी के लगभग 15 मिनट में मुख्य अभियंता मौका स्थल पर निरीक्षण करने पहुंचे, उनके साथ अग्नि सुरक्षा अधिकारी भी राख बांध पहुंचे।

परंतु बड़ी समस्या यहां उत्पन हो गई की दमकल गाडिय़ां जहां आग लगी थीं वहां तक पहुंचने में असफल रही। इस बीच आदिल ने बैतूल कलेक्टर अमन बीर सिंह बैंस को भी बड़े पैमाने पर आग लगने की जानकारी दी। जिस पर कलेक्टर के माध्यम से आदिल को बताया गया की उन्होंने संबंधित एसडीएम को इसकी जानकारी दे दी है।
वहीं आदिल ने इस संबंध में बैतूल सीसीएफ को भी जानकारी दी। इस बीच आग बड़े स्तर पर फैलती रही। शाम करीब छह बजे कुछ मजदूरों को आग बुझाने राख बांध में उतारा गया, परंतु अंधेरा होने तक बस एक ही?? हिस्से की आग बुझाने में सफलता मिली बाकी क्षेत्र में आग लगातार फैलते जा रही थी।

इसी राख बांध से तीन साल पहले दो बार बाघ का रेस्क्यू वन विभाग के माध्यम से किया जा चुका है। परंतु फिर भी इतने बड़े पैमाने पर आग लगना और सरकारी विभागों की आग को लेकर ढ़ीली कार्यप्रणाली गंभीर सवाल खड़े कर रहीं है।
जिस स्थान पर आग लगी थी ठीक उसी स्थान पर एक निजी कंपनी द्वारा राख निकालने का काम किया जा रहा है, परंतु सुबह से आग लगे होने के बाद भी उक्त कंपनी और राख बांध पर मौजूद सुरक्षाकर्मी द्वारा भी किसी विभाग में कोई जानकारी नहीं दी गई जिससे आग लगने का पूरा मामला संदिग्ध नजर आ रहा है।
