नए एसपी सिद्धार्थ चौधरी ने संभाला कार्यभार
IPS Siddharth Chaudhary – बैतूल – आज बैतूल के नए एसपी सिद्धार्थ चौधरी ने कार्यभार संभाला और इसके पश्चात पुलिस अधीक्षक कार्यालय का निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान एडिशनल एसपी नीरज सोनी एवं एसडीओपी सृष्टि भार्गव ने कार्यालय का निरीक्षण कराया। श्री चौधरी के पदभार ग्रहण करने के बाद पुलिस अधिकारियों ने भी उनसे मुलाकात की और उन्हें शुभकामनाएं दी।
1995 में हुई थी पहली पदस्थापना
राज्य प्रशासनिक सेवा 1995 में डीएसपी के पद पर पदस्थ हुए सिद्धार्थ चौधरी ने अभी तक पुलिस में 27 साल की सेवा दी हैं। उनका यह सफर कई उपलब्धियों से भी जुड़ा है। सांध्य दैनिक खबरवाणी से चर्चा में श्री चौधरी ने बताया कि डीएसपी की नियुक्ति के बाद उनकी पदस्थापना 14 वीं बटालियन ग्वालियर में हुई।
इसके बाद सीएसपी मुरैना, इंदौर, जबलपुर में सेवाएं दी। इसके पश्चात प्रमोशन होने पर उन्हें एडिशनल एसपी भिंड बनाया गया। श्री चौधरी ने चंबल क्षेत्र में डकैतों को समाप्त करने के लिए उत्कृष्ट कार्य किया और 2012 में उन्होंने दो खूंखार डकैतों का एनकाउंटर किया था। इस कार्य को लेकर उन्हें राष्ट्रपति वीरता पदक से नवाजा गया। पुलिस विभाग में उनकी काफी सराहना हुई।

श्री चौधरी का 2018 में आईपीएस अवार्ड हुआ। उनके बेहतर कार्यकाल के दौरान 2020 में उन्हें सराहनीय सेवा पदक से भी सम्मानित किया गया। श्री चौधरी बतौर एसपी लोकायुक्त भोपाल और उज्जैन में भी सेवाएं दे चुके हैं।
इसके अलावा उनकी पदस्थापना विशेष शाखा में हुई और इसके साथ ही मध्यप्रदेश सरकार के गृहमंत्री के ओएसडी भी बने। उनकी सेवाएं सागर पीटीएस, एआईजी प्रशासन पीएचक्यू भी रही। श्री चौधरी मंदसौर एसपी बने और इसके बाद उन्हें खरगौन एसपी की भी जिम्मेदारी मिली।
खरगौन में लगी थी पैर में गोली
खरगौन में हुए दंगे के दौरान सुरक्षा व्यवस्था संभाल रहे श्री चौधरी के पैर में गोली भी लगी थी। खरगौन के बाद सीआईडी में एआईजी के पद पर भी पदस्थ रहे। आज उन्होंने बैतूल में एसपी का पदभार ग्रहण कर लिया है। उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस विभाग में बेहतर टीम वर्क से काम किया जाए तो अपराधों पर अंकुश लगता है।
मेरी कोशिश रहेगी कि जिले में टीम वर्क के साथ काम किया जाएगा। विचाराधीन अपराधों की भी समीक्षा की जाएगी और उनका निराकरण करने का प्रयास रहेगा। संपत्ति संबंधित अपराध, सायबर क्राइम सहित अन्य अपराधों पर बेहतर कार्य किया जाएगा।

उन्होंने सायबर क्राइम को लेकर कहा कि जिस तरह सायबर क्राइम बढ़ रहा है उसको लेकर और बेहतर कार्य किया जाना चाहिए। सायबर की टीम में एक्सपर्ट युवाओं को कार्य करने का मौका दिया जाएगा। जागरूकता अभियान चलाए जाएंगे। शिविर लगाए जाएंगे। उन्होंने लोगों से भी अपील की है कि अगर किसी के साथ सायबर क्राइम होता है तो वह सामने आए और कंपलेंट करें।
वर्दी का आकर्षण खींच लाया पुलिस में
मध्यप्रदेश हाल छत्तीसगढ़ के जसपुर के मूल निवासी श्री चौधरी बिजनेसमेन परिवार से ताल्लुक रखते हैं। उनके पिता सफल कांट्रेक्टर और भाई बिजनेसमेन हैं। चाहते तो श्री चौधरी भी सफल बिजनेसमेन बन सकते हैं लेकिन उन्हें बचपन से ही पुलिस की वर्दी का आकर्षण ऐसा था कि उन्होंने भी पुलिस की वर्दी पहनने की ठान ली और अंतत: उन्होंने वर्ष 1993 में एमपीपीएससी की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण कर 1994 में चयन हुआ और 1995 में वह डीएसपी बन गए। इस तरह से सिद्धार्थ चौधरी ने वर्दी के आकर्षण का सपना पूरा किया।

श्री चौधरी खेलप्रेमी भी हैं और लॉन टेनिस के अच्छे खिलाड़ी है। उन्होंने खेल को लेकर कहा कि बैतूल की खेल प्रतिभाओं को उभारने के लिए पूरा सहयोग किया जाएगा। पुलिस विभाग में फिटनेस की दृष्टि से पुलिसकर्मियों को भी खेल के प्रति प्रोत्साहित किया जाएगा।
