RTO Officer – किसी भी शहर में ऐसे तो हजारों और लाखों की संख्या में गाड़ियां दौड़ रहीं हैं लेकिन क्या आपको पता है इन गाड़ियों के लाइसेंस से लेकर फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट तक एक ही अधिकारी की परमिशन से बनते हैं। जिसे RTO कहा जाता है RTO का फुल फॉर्म होता है रीजनल ट्रांसपोर्ट ऑफिसर. हिंदी में कहें तो क्षेत्रीय परिवहन अधिकारी। RTO को अच्छी सैलरी के साथ कई सुविधाएं भी प्रदान की जाती हैं। और तो और एक RTO सड़क और यातायात में काफी अधिकार रखता है।
आरटीओ ऑफिसर की ड्राइविंग लइसेंस जारी करने से लेकर व्हीकल एक्साइज ड्यूटी (जिसे रोड ट्रैक्स और रोड फंड लाइसेंस भी कहा जाता है) कलेक्ट करने के साथ पर्सनलाइज्ड रजिस्ट्रेशन बेचने में अहम भूमिका होती है। इसके साथ वाहनों के बीमा की जांच और प्रदूषण नियंत्रण के लिए वाहनों की जांच व सर्टिफिकेट की भी जिम्मेदारियां उसके पास होती हैं। तो चलिए सिलसिलेवार तरीके से जानने की कोशिश करते हैं की आखिर कैसे बनते हैं आरटीओ और उसे सैलरी कितनी मिलती है।

आरटीओ के पद पर सीधे भर्ती नहीं होती. सबसे पहले एआरटीओ के पद पर नियुक्ति होती है. कुछ साल सर्विस के बाद प्रमोशन के जरिए आरटीओ पद पर नियुक्ति मिलती है. एआरटीओ की भर्ती राज्य राज्य सेवा आयोग के माध्यम से होती है. इसके लिए सबसे पहले प्रारंभिक परीक्षा, मेडिकल/फिटनेस टेस्ट और इंटरव्यू पास करने पड़ते हैं.
इन्हे होती है पात्रता
आरटीओ पद पर भर्ती के लिए सबसे पहले तो किसी भी स्ट्रीम में बैचलर डिग्री यानी ग्रेजुएट होना चाहिए. साथ ही उम्र कम से कम 21 साल और और अधिकतम 30 साल होनी चाहिए. हालांकि अधिकतम उम्र सीमा ओबीसी के लिए 33 साल और एससी-एसटी के लिए 37 साल है.
आरटीओ सैलरी | RTO Officer
आरटीओ का पे स्केल 15600-39100 रुपये है. हालंकि इसमें कई प्रकार के भत्ते जुड़ते हैं. आरटीओ ऑफिसर सरकारी नौकरियों में बी ग्रेड की जॉब है.
आरटीओ को मिलने वाली सुविधाएं
आरटीओ पद पर भर्ती होने के बाद एक सरकारी गाड़ी मिलती है. मेडिकल सहित कई प्रकार की सुविधाएं मिलती हैं. जिसमें ऑफिस में प्राइवेट केबिन आदि भी शामिल है.
