अब तक कितने पशुपालकों को किया गया नि:शुल्क बकरों का वितरण
पशुपालन विभाग के संयुक्त निदेशक डॉ. प्रवीण सेन के अनुसार राज्य में पशुपालन राष्ट्रीय पशुधन मिशन और सिरोही नस्ल बकरी विकास परियोजना के तहत बकरी पालकों को अब तक 124 सिरोही नस्ल के बकरों का नि:शुल्क वितरण किया जा चुका है। इस योजना के तहत पिछले दिनों चाकसू के मानपुरा-माचाड़ी गांव में नि:शुल्क बकरा वितरण शिविर लगाया गया जिसमें पशुपालकों को उच्च नस्ल के बकरों का नि:शुल्क वितरण किया गया।
इन जिलों के बकरी पालकों को मिलेगा योजना का लाभ
राष्ट्रीय पशुधन मिशन के तहत सिरोही नस्ल बकरी विकास परियोजना का क्रियान्वयन राजस्थान के चयनित जिलों में किया जा रहा है। इस योजना के लिए जिन जिलों का चयन किया गया है, उनमें जयपुर, सीकर, सिरोही, अजमेर, चितौड़गढ़, चूरू, नागौर, प्रतापगढ़, राजसमंद जिलों को शामिल किया गया है।
क्या है सिरोही नस्ल की बकरे-बकरी की खासियत
सिरोही नस्ल के बकरे उत्तम नस्ले के होते हैं जिनसे बकरी पालन (goat farming) के क्षेत्र में उत्पादकता को बढ़ाया जा सकता है। इस नस्ल की बकरे और बकरी में रोगप्रतिरोधक क्षमता और सूखा सहने की क्षमता अन्य नस्ल के बकरें-बकरियों से अधिक होती है। इस नस्ल की बकरियां अपने दूध और मांस के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं। इस नस्ल की बकरी का आकार मध्यम और गठीला होता है। इस नस्ल की बकरी का शरीर हल्का और गहरा भूरा होता है जिस पर काले और सफेद धब्बे होते हैं। इस नस्ल की बकरी एक साल में चार बच्चे को जन्म देती है। इसके प्रत्येक बच्चे का वजन 2 किलोग्राम होता है। इसके अलावा इस बकरी की दूध देने की क्षमता भी अच्छी होती है। ये प्रतिदिन एक से दो लीटर दूध देती है। ऐसे में पशुपालक इस नस्ल की बकरी का पालन करके काफी अच्छा पैसा कमा सकते हैं।
