Calling Fraud के मामले में बढ़ोतरी चिंता का विषय है। पुलिस समेत कई तरह के जागरूकता अभियान के द्वारा साइबर फ्रॉड मामले में कमी लाने की कोशिश की जा रही है। कानपुर में साइबर फ्रॉड के मामला सामने आया है।
छात्रा के खाते से निकाले लाखों रुपए
पीड़िता संजना पौल आईआईटी कानपुर से पीएचडी कर रही हैं। आरोपी ने बेहद ही शातिर तरीके से संजना को अपना निशाना बनाया और उसका अकाउंट साफ कर दिया। मूल रूप से केरल के एर्नाकुलम कालामेस्सरी निवासी संजना को आरोपी ने मुंबई पुलिस का सिपाही बनकर संपर्क किया था। फोन कॉल के दौरान ही यह सब ठगी की गई।

कैसे हुई ठगी?
दरअसल, आरोपी ने मुंबई पुलिस का सिपाही बनकर संजना को कॉल किया था। इसके बाद अकाउंट वेरिफिकेशन के नाम पर संजना की निजी जानकारी हासिल कर ली। इसके बाद उसके खाते से पांच लाख 69 हजार 738 रुपये निकाल लिया गया। ठगी का अहसास होने के बाद पीड़िता ने शिकायत दर्ज कराई है और मामले की जांच चल रही है।
सलाह दी गई है कि इससे बचने के लिए अपनी बैंक से जुड़ी निजी जानकारी किसी के साथ शेयर न करें।
